Let’s go out with a bang

Friday, June 25 is Jimmie Hale Mission Awareness Night with the Birmingham Barons at Regions Field. The home team takes on the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and invites you to hang around for the post-game fireworks show. The game begins at 7PM. Tickets available here.

Free, family + dog-friendly

Eat, drink, shop + SUPPORT the Greater Birmingham Humane Society during their fundraising event Sips for Strays on Friday, June 25. Taking place at Cahaba Brewing Company from 6-9PM, proceeds from the event benefit the GBHS Project Pet Safe. Celebrate the burn

Grindhouse AL turns 2 on Saturday, June 26 from 9AM-Noon. To celebrate, they’ll be hosting a block party with vendors, food and FREE workout sessions all day. More info

How many wings can you eat?

Lakeview is the place to be this Saturday, June 26 at 1PM during Moe’s Original Smoking’ Hot Summer Jam. Enjoy a full day of eats, frosty brews + summer cocktails, plus live music, activities + contests, like the Wing Bowl Competition. Proceeds benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Tickets are $35.

How “bazaar”, how “bazaar”

Saturday, June 26 marks the 7th year of Cahaba Brewing Company’s CahaBAZAAR. On the agenda: 60+ vendors, food trucks, live musicians + beer. Need I say more? The fun takes place from Noon-6PM. Admission is FREE. Food + vendor list here.

Taco ’bout delicious

It’s no secret… I love tacos! Throw in some chips, queso + a marg and I’m one happy camper. Feel the same? Then get your fill at the Taco-Rita Festival, Saturday, June 26. Birmingham’s tastiest taco vendors will be there competing for the coveted best taco awards, so dig in. The event takes place at Sloss Furnaces from 4-8PM. Tickets are $5 in advance + $10 the day of the event.
