3. The Citizen
Drive along the iconic palm tree spotted lane of Alys Beach and you’ll find The Citizen — an upscale seafood fare restaurant featuring dishes inspired by coastal towns around the world.
Owner Jeremy Walton created The Citizen with a goal to embody what it means to be just that. The restaurant fosters a constant sense of creativity and community among their staff and guests to depict the qualities of a good citizen. 4. 30A
We are no stranger to the iconic blue 30A brand, and if you don’t already have one of their stickers on the back of your car, now is the time to jump on the trend.
Founder and owner Mike Ragsdale has created more than an eco-friendly brand you can find on tees, stickers, and even craft beer. 30A technically stands for the highway that runs through the Florida panhandle, but to Mike and many others, it represents a life of good times on the coast and a happy beach lifestyle.

5. Great Southern Café
If you’re strolling through Seaside Square and want the perfect dinner spot to people watch while enjoying mind-blowing seafood, Great Southern Café is the place to go. Nestled in the center of the square, you’ll be surrounded by the beach life atmosphere that makes Seaside so special.
Great Southern Café was managed for years by Billy McConnell, who you may remember as the original owner of Billy’s Bar & Grill in Birmingham. He created a space of good food and happy customers that keep coming back for more.
