Back in July 2020, Bham Now’s Chaise Sanders wrote a guide listing 28 Bar-B-Q joints in and around the Birmingham area. Since Memorial Day weekend is the official start of summer, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with some BBQ. Enjoy her story!

Ahhh! Some good ole’ barbecue otherwise known as a Southerner’s favorite food group. Here are over 28 places in and around Birmingham to pick up hickory-smoked, finger-licking goodness.

Many of these businesses are pulled from our growing database featuring over 580 local restaurants, bars and businesses offering deals, curbside delivery and more.

Oh, and if you’re a local biz owner yourself, feel free to add your business to the database for free. We’d love to have you.
