Birmingham’s beloved small music venue, Iron City, has officially reopened for socially-distant concerts! We’ve been waiting for the return of live concerts for sooo long, so we’re excited to check out Iron City’s April lineup—here are all the details!

1. Andy Frasco & The U.N. — April 7th

  • When: Wednesday, April 7th at 8PM
  • Where: Iron City Bham, 513 22nd St S, Birmingham, AL 35233

When it comes to high-energy blues rock, it’s hard to beat Andy Frasco & The U.N. This American blues rock band was originally formed in Los Angeles, and have been wow’ing fans across the country since 2007. Expect to see impromptu instrument battles between members of the band as they play off each other!

2. Mustache The Band — April 16th

Grab your boots and cowboy hats and get ready for Mustache The Band at Iron City. If you love the country hits of the 1990s, you’ll love Mustache The Band. This 90s Country Party band has over 100 classic country hits in their repertoire, and every guest gets their very own mustache at the beginning of the show!

3. Electric Avenue — April 23rd

Grab the Farrah Fawcett hairspray and bell-bottom jeans—the 80s are back! Electric Avenue, the 80s MTV experience, will be performing some of the top hits of the decade when they play at Iron City on Friday, April 23rd. From David Bowie to Madonna, Queen to WHAM! and everything in-between, Electric Avenue can play it all.

4. Got Grunge?? Featuring Nevermind and Dead & Bloated — April 24th

  • What: Nevermind and Dead & Bloated at Iron City
  • When: Saturday, April 24th from 8PM to 11PM
  • Where: Iron City Bham, 513 22nd St S, Birmingham, AL 35233

On April 24th, prepare to be transported back to the 90s when Nevermind and Dead & Bloated take to the stage at Iron City. These two tribute bands will be bringing a high-energy show to Iron City and performing some of your favorite grungy hits from Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots. Grab your flannel tee shirts and Converse shoes and plan to relive the 90s at Iron City!

5. Boy Band Night — April 30th

  • When: Friday, April 30th from 8PM to 11PM

All the hits. All the moves. The Boy Band Night has it all. On Friday, April 30th, guests can re-live all the excitement of seeing their favorite boy bands for the very first time. The Boy Band Night is a touring act from Chicago that performs the biggest hits from The Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, the New Kids on the Block, One Direction, the Jonas Brothers and more.

Safety is a Priority at Iron City

Concerts may be back, but you still need to observe proper COVID-19 precautions while you rock out at Iron City. Luckily, Iron City is taking COVID-19 very serious, and they’ve impletmented several safety guidelines to keep their guests and employees safe:

  • All social distancing rules and regulations must be followed at all times while inside the venue. Patrons who fail to follow safe distancing at the request of staff will be safely removed from the venue; no refunds will be given. 
  • All patrons will be required to wear a mask when entering and moving around the venue.
  • Sanitizing stations will be available around the venue. Partitions are placed at the bar. Please keep your mask on when ordering.
  • Bar station and commonly touched areas will be cleaned throughout the show.
  • Iron City asks that you please maintain a six-foot distance between you and other concert-goers not in your party.
