Although the Birmingham Museum of Art has recently opened its doors with limited capacity, they’ve decided that all of their programming will take place virtually for the foreseeable future. This includes one of their most popular events, the HOLI Festival, which is an ancient Hindu holiday that began in India to welcome the changing of the season. Although this year’s festivities will be virtual, BMA have come up with a way to keep the experience interactive. The festival will still feature live performances and live poetry readings, as well as the throwing of the colors.

Kit Registration: The Birmingham Museum of Art wants patrons to be engaged as possible so they’ve created at home kits, which include white t-shirts, printed coloring sheets, dinner coupons, throwing colors (Gulal), Painted People Art Activity, etc. To register for your Holiday Festival at home kit, click here.
