1. Miami Fusion Cafe
The downtown location of Miami Fusion Cafe has officially reopened. About a week ago, the restaurant that serves up a fusion of Caribbean flavors shared that their 5th Avenue North location is back in business.
Along with their Highway 280 location, the downtown Birmingham location also serves dishes that recreate the flavors of the Islands, including Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, mofongo and much more.
2. The Nail Bar
What better way to treat yourself than with a little pamper sesh? The Nail Bar is a new nail salon in Brook Highlands on Highway 280 that officially opened its doors on March 16.
Their menu offers services like:
- Classic manicure
- Organic pedicure
- SNS
- Gel polish
- And more!
3. Tropical Smoothie Cafe
Your one-stop-shop for sandwiches, wraps, smoothies and salads is opening a new location in Homewood. But that’s not all! According to the shops website, Tropical Smoothie Cafe will soon have a new location in Trussville, too.

4. Iron City Nutrition
Sip, sip horray! Birmingham is getting ready to welcome a new nutrition shop that specializes in cool drinks like tea bombs and protein shakes. With dozens of flavors, including Hawaiian Paradise, Peanut Butter Cup and Mermaid, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
If you’re looking for more of a meal, they’ve got you covered. Iron City Nutrition also serves waffles packed full of protein and sprinkled with your favorite toppings for a personalized taste explosion. Keep an eye on their social channels for the announcement of an official opening date.
5. Clean Eatz Cafe
Think of Clean Eatz Cafe as your healthy hub for meal plans, grab n’ go meals, smoothies and more. Clean Eatz puts a nutritious spin on all of your comfort food favorites, including “Good For You” Nachos, Boneless Wingz and Build-Your-Own Bowls.
