A new tenant is coming to The Pizitz Food Hall this spring and, thanks to their popular food trucks, we already know all about them. Get ready to welcome Broad Street Peaux Boys brought to us by the owner of NOLA Ice. The concept will open in the former Spoon & Ladle space and bring a taste of the Big Easy to The Magic City.

The stall will combine Broad Street Peaux Boys and NOLA Ice under one roof so you can grab a po’boy and a shaved ice for dessert.

3. El Patron

Trussville just got a new Mexican restaurant and we’re ready to grub. The former Frontera Grill in the Trussville Shopping Center has been transformed into El Patron with an updated interior and menu.

Their menu features all of your favorites, including:

The Backyard Market opened its doors on February 15 on Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills. The new neighborhood market serves as a specialty grocery store that focuses on local and regional products as well as a deli-restaurant that will serve:

  • Take-home pre-made meals
