Fourth Time’s the Charm
Avondale might just be joining the ranks of Birmingham entertainment districts! We’ll find out soon enough with a public hearing scheduled next Tuesday, June 23 to further discuss. Bham is allowed up to 5 of these open container allowed districts which would make Avondale numero cuatro after Uptown, Pepper Place, and most recently Five Points South. Who do you think is next?
Windows Down, Resume Out
Grab those resumes and get cruisin’ down to Express Employment Professionals Drive-Through Job Fair on Friday, June 12 from 10am-3pm. Today’s the day to mix, mingle, and submit some job applications all from the safety of your car. PLUS be entered for a chance to win a $50 gift card just for attending! Sounds like a win/win to me.

Now that things are opening back up, we’ve all been wondering what’s it like to get back out there with these new precautionary measures. Don’t worry, Bham Now has got your back. Take a peek inside eight local restaurants to get a feel for what to expect when you are finally ready to give dining out a go once again! *No pressure.*
Open Sesame
Annnnd just like that The Pizitz Food Hall is back in action for dine-in service⏤with some new safety precautions to boot. Of course, we’ve got to go show our support by grabbing a juicy burger, or a bowl of ramen, or maybe a delicious cocktail sometime (very) soon. Bet you didn’t know a new restaurant is on the way. Any guesses on who?
Tailgate’s Down
Grab your pals and get your concert on car side. While social distancing is still a big part of our every day lives a new wave of drive-in entertainment has arrived! Check out these upcoming events that are guaranteed to keep you safely entertained.
Hi Ho, Hi Ho
It’s off to camp we go. I mean it is national camping month. Not ready to hit the road just yet? Well, here are a few local places to get that much-needed gear for a weekend (or weeklong) of fun.
Welcome to the Fam
SPOTTED: Three new tenants + a new restaurant in Jefferson Corner. Say hi to Bham’s newest architecture firm, fitness studio, plant shop, and soon to be contemporary grilling restaurant named Helen. It doesn’t get much better than new additions to the Birmingham family.
