As the name suggests, they serve all kinds of fresh seafood prepared with New Orleans style and flavor. With classic dishes like shrimp & grits and gulf red snapper étouffée, one glance over their menu will have you drooling in no time.
Not only does Bywater do cajun and creole cuisine, they do it WELL.

The Food
The menu features traditional dishes from the many regions of Louisiana as well as the gulf coast, all made from scratch in time-honored tradition, including various fresh herbs, shellfish, seasonings and vegetables.
For the non-seafood people (although they might become converts after visiting Bywater), there are plenty of other options—including red beans and rice, beef tenderloins and steaks, fried chicken tenders and more.
