Who needs a quick getaway? Here are six of our favorite cities with direct flights from BHM

Did you know that Birmingham has nonstop flights to a bunch of great cities across the U.S.? Get ready to pack your bags. We’ve chosen our top six destinations with no connection required!

Chicago: the home of deep dish pizza and The Cubs. You can fly to O’Hare (via American Airlines) or Midway (via Southwest) directly from BHM!

Okay, the picture above isn’t technically Denver, but you can get to these beautiful mountains (and of course, so many more) easily from there! Who wants to go on a hike? United and Frontier both have nonstop flights.

Las Vegas

Shows, casinos, shopping, lounging by the pool… Vegas has a lot to offer. If getting outside is more your style, Red Rock Canyon might be for you. NOTE: This Southwest flight has been temporarily changed to a one or two-stop flight until September 2, 2019.

Orlando, FL

Orlando is the land of theme parks: Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld, to name a few! The direct flight is via Southwest.
