The Fourth of July is underway! Get ready to show off that red, white and blue during these celebrations taking place in and around Birmingham.
3rd Annual “Red White and Brew”

Don those patriotic colors during the 3rd Annual Red, White and Brew Food Truck and Music Fest at Avondale Brewing Company. During this celebratory event, enjoy:
- Live music performances from Legal Limit, Bailey Ingle and the Lamont Landers Band
- Bham Food trucks
- Children’s activities (inflatables, face painting)
There will also be a great view of the fireworks flashing over Birmingham.
Proceeds from the event benefit Birmingham City Schools.

The drive-in is back at the newly constructed Backyard at Grand River in Leeds and it’s re-opening just in time for the most patriotic day of the year.

On July 3, celebrate our nation’s independence and brave heroes during Fire on the Water at Oak Mountain State Park.
All day long experience outdoor happiness at this exciting state park with activities like:
- Beach volleyball
- Basketball
- Fishing
- Treetop nature trail
Food trucks will be on site from 10AM-9PM, so bring your appetite. Grab a beer on the beach from 5-8PM. (Cash only. No outside alcohol allowed.)
At 9PM, hunker down for the annual fireworks show. Be sure to bring chairs or a blanket for viewing comfort.
