Did you know that Wednesday, May 29th, is National Biscuit Day? Biscuits are a major part of any Birmingham breakfast.

Here’s a guide to some of our favorite biscuits in Birmingham that you should try on National Biscuit Day.

Although Jack’s in Homewood is closed for renovations, we had to include them at the top of our list. I mean, we did say they were the best in the South… They have so many options from bacon, egg and cheese to chicken to pork chop biscuits, Jack’s is definitely a must for National Biscuit Day.

Whether you like to keep it simple or you tend to stray away from the traditional, you’ll find something just for you at Alabama Biscuit Company. From just the plain biscuit to the goat cheese, pecan and honey, everything is delicious.

4. Bogue’s

If you’re in the mood for some really good southern comfort food and atmosphere, this is the place for you. Stop by early in the morning because they close at 12 and you don’t wanna miss out on their amazing biscuits.

Milo’s is a long-time Alabama favorite. Although they’re very well-known for their hamburgers and sweet tea, don’t underestimate their delicious biscuits.
