It’s time to march
In May 1963, Civil Rights leaders Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Reverend Ralph Abernathy and Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth launched the Children’s Crusade. Now, 56 years later, the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and students from St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will march alongside the original “foot soldiers” from 1963. The event takes place at 10AM and is free to the public. Registration is required. To learn more about this important event, click here.
