Mercantile on Morris

Do you daydream about living in the heart of a bustling city with great views and all of the trendiest hotspots just steps away? I say turn that daydream into reality! The first step—take the tour of Mercantile on Morris. Located on iconic Morris Avenue, you’ll fall head over heels for its historic charm and prime spot near the city’s best bars, restaurants and retailers.

New Ideal Lofts

New Ideal Lofts broke ground at the beginning of April, and let me tell you something, it is the “ideal” place to live.

Located in the fastest-growing area of downtown Birmingham in the Theatre District, you’ll be living in a prime spot: Across from the Pizitz and McWane science Center, just a block from the Alabama Theatre and a short walk from Railroad Park and Regions Field. See, I told you it was ideal!

Originally a department store, the building has been vacant since 1990. Fast-Forward 29 years and a huge transformation is underway. During the tour, you’ll learn all about the buildings roots and what to expect when the project is complete. Industrial charm and modern style anyone?

2. You’ll Get an Up-Close Look of the Growth Happening Downtown

Growth. Rebirth. A boom. These are all words that have been used to describe what’s been taking place in downtown Birmingham for the past few years. But have you actually ventured downtown to see for yourself what all of the fuss is about?

3. You’ll Have the Chance to Experience Birmingham Pedal Tours

Some of the loft tours are within easy walking distance of each other. (Mercantile on Morris and New Ideal Lofts, for example.) Some, however, are a bit of a distance apart to make the trek by foot, like Printers Corner and Avenue A. But have no fear, because H2 Real Estate has teamed up with Birmingham Pedal Tours to take you the distance.

Never been on a Birmingham Pedal Tour? Well, this is a great way to get a feel for the experience. During the event, there will be two pedal bikes. One will take you to Avenue A, the other to Printer’s Corner. Ride price is included with your purchase of Loft Tours ticket.

4. There Will Be Delicious Eats

It would be a worthwhile event without some grub. You may want to go ahead and nab a spot in line so you can be the first to dive in to delicious food from Saw’s Street Kitchen. Yep, Saw’s food truck will be slinging tasty barbecue to hungry event-goers just like you. Pulled pork, mac and cheese, banana pudding and all your other favorites. Mmm!

The Nola Ice truck will also be making an appearance. Setting up shop along the Rotary Trail, they’ll be serving up their original New Orleans Sno-Balls all afternoon. Be sure to stop by for this perfect springtime treat.

Want to attend H2 Real Estate’s Loft Tours? Of course you do! All you need to do is buy that ticket. Now until April 22nd tickets will be on sale for just $20. Prices will then increase to $25 and then $30 the day of the tour. If I were you, I’d take advantage of the discount and buy now!
