April 7 – Little Savannah Restaurant and Bar’s 2nd Annual Crawfish Boil

Forest Park dining staple Little Savannah hosts this boil with crawfish from Craw Daddy Dave’s of Hueytown. Hoover native and singer/songwriter Bailey Ingle takes the stage at 11AM and throughout the day, while local party band OutShine takes the stage at noon.

Co-hosts include Ghost Train Brewing Co. (official event craft beer), Cathead Vodka (official event vodka), Clyde Mays Alabama Whiskey (official event whiskey) and Birmingham Bud (official event domestic beer). Check out the impressive list of door prizes and options for non-crawfish eaters.

You don’t even have to own a Harley to enjoy free crawfish, beverages and live entertainment by The Sassy Brown Blues Band at this boil. Non-crawfish eaters can mange on Hammer’s Hotdogs. Activities include a kids’ zone, games, raffles and an Easter egg hunt.

April 27 – 12th Annual Hope for Autumn Foundation Crawfish Boil

Louisiana native John Hein will prepare crawfish for this event, which benefits families battling childhood cancer in Alabama and local childhood cancer research. The menu also includes hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings. Kids activities include bounce houses, balloon animals, face painting, a kids’ DJ dance party and a performance by Roger Day. Live music by Pioneer Chicken Stand and Billy Gant Band.
