New Year’s Eve preparation can sometimes get lost in all the hub-bub around the holidays, but we’re here to help. We’ve got your list of the New Year’s Eve parties going on in Birmingham so you can ring in 2019 the right way.

Loft District Downtown Get Down

The loft district is putting on a joint NYE party like no other. Pay for a $10 wristband to get you into your first venue, and each additional venue you visit is only $5! Make sure to hang onto your wristbands throughout the night!

80s Party at the Woolworth

Get down and get funky on NYE at the Woolworth! This will be the Woolworth’s first New Year’s Eve event and they are doing it right. Plan on having drinks, food, and fun at the Woolworth for an 80s-themed bash. Wear your best 80s outfit and ring in the new year with a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets: $10 in advance, $15 at the door.

“Ring in the Revelry” at Roots & Revelry

Roots & Revelry’s 2nd annual New Year’s Eve party will once again take place on the entire second floor of the Thomas Jefferson Tower. Buy tickets here.

General admission tickets range from $25-$40 and grant you admission to the party (large ballroom with DJs and dancing, terrace with heaters and fire pits, and R&R parlor to mix and mingle), 1 drink ticket and champagne toast.

A VIP ticket is $150 and includes admission to the party as described above, in addition to a special VIP area in the R&R dining room with separate bar service and extra seating, open premium bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres from 9-11pm and champagne toast. You will also have a midnight snack following the countdown.

New Year’s Eve 80s Ball at Workplay

That’s right — there is another 80s bash to attend for NYE. The 80s music will be blaring and the hair will be teased. Wear an 80s-inspired outfit and head over to Workplay to dance the night away. Buy a ticket to snack on hors d’oevres and enjoy drink specials, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight, of course! Tickets are $40.

New Year’s Eve Party at Iron City Bham

Party into 2019 at Iron City Bham with two of Birmingham’s best cover bands — The Schmohawks and Mario Mena Band. They will be covering all your favorite hits all night long while you party! Enjoy an open bar, hors d’oevres by The Grill at Iron City, midnight champagne and an epic countdown into to 2019 when you buy a ticket.

The ASO is hosting their New Year’s Eve party at the UAB Alys Stephens Center in the Jemison Concert Hall. Attendants can expect to dance into the New Year with waltzes, polkas, and marches by Johann Strauss II, alongside dance-inspired music from around the world. A special guest will join for a couple of operetta selections, and the evening wouldn’t be complete without ASO’s yearly champagne toast! Buy tickets here.
