Spooky costumes, oodles of candy and Halloween fun await you this month in Birmingham. Here are 13 trunk or treats to check out, plus a few extra Halloween events you won’t want to miss!

Asbury United Methodist Church has held its annual Trunk or Treat event for more than 10 years, and guess what! It has grown larger and more popular each year. This year, there will be:

  • Complimentary hot dogs, popcorn and water.
  • Scary-oke.
  • FREE carnival rides and games.
  • A cake walk.
  • Costumes galore.
  • Fun for all!

It’s Trunk or Treat time at the Birmingham Academy of Martial Arts—and it’s going to be a blast! Check out a parking lot filled with frightening trunks, tons of candy and lots of smiling faces.

There will also be a contest for the best decorated trunk—winner receives movie tickets!

October marks the month-long tradition of Boo at the Zoo and the Birmingham Zoo. To celebrate Boo at the Zoo’s 27th year, wear your most spooktacular costume and check out one of the most beloved events in Birmingham.
