It’s time to honor some of Birmingham’s smartest cookies during the Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama’s One Smart Cookie Celebration, happening Aug. 30.

The Event

The One Smart Cookie Celebration will take place from 11:30am-1pm at The Harbert Writing Center in Birmingham.

During the One Smart Cookie Celebration, the Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama will recognize outstanding women of distinction in Central Alabama and Showcase the impact local Girl Scouts have on their community.

Who Are Women Of Distinction?

Women who have made special contributions to their community through civic, academic or professional involvement, and are exemplary role models for today’s girls.

Event Proceeds

The event will also raise money for the organization. Proceeds from the Central Alabama One Smart Cookie Celebration help provide low income and underserved girls in local communities the same access to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience as girls in traditional troops.
