Downtown Newk’s making history: debuting breakfast menu on April 16th

Mark your calendars for April 16th.  A Birmingham Newk’s is going down in history.

We’re pretty proud of the Newk’s on Richard Arrington Blvd. for being the first Newk’s EVER to offer a full breakfast menu.

In other words, the most important meal of the day just got a whole lot better for Birmingham.

The Details

Downtown Birmingham’s been hankering for more breakfast/brunch options for its residents and Newk’s has answered the call.

Started by a father-son duo in Oxford, Mississippi,  in 14 years the chain has grown to over 100 restaurants in 13 states.

According to the BBJ, the downtown location will be serving breakfast every day from 6:30 to 10:30 AM starting April 16th.

Wondering what their delicious breakfast options will be? Look no further.

The Breakfast Menu

We present you the pimiento cheese and bacon croissant sandwich in all its goodness. Toasted with two cage-free eggs cooked to order, this breakfast is guaranteed to be perfectly Southern and satisfying.

I’m predicting a customer favorite with the Lemon blueberry baked French toast including legit French bread, fresh blueberries and lemon zest.

Not to be forgotten, the farmers market three egg scramble includes fresh ingredients like cage-free eggs, Portabella mushrooms, grilled squash, tomatoes, zucchini, shredded Gouda, spinach andddd basil mayo.

For a lighter breakfast, try their yogurt and granola with muffin croutons (?!) or just go big and get one of their four great muffins.

The downtown location also has mimosas on the menu.  We’re barely holding it in over here.
