Visually stunning, the entire complex is not only a place to play “Topgolf” and hit golf balls, but it is also a first class dining, entertainment and event space. Below is a tour of the entire Topgolf  Birmingham facility via Bham Now’s Facebook Live video feed.

Tyler McCarthy, Director of Operations at Topgolf  Birmingham describes the concept of Topgolf:

“Topgolf is unique because its everyone’s game.”

At the Birmingham complex there are 104 hitting bays. The game is pretty simple.

According to McCarthy,  you hit golf balls into targets on the field and you score points based on the proximity of the center of the target you hit it into and  the distance you hit the ball.

“It is a great way to introduce people to the sport of golf.  If you are an avid golfer you can have a great time  because you can keep stats on your ball. It really is fun for everyone,” McCarthy added.

More than golf, the entire complex is filled with dining and entertainment opportunities.

“We have a 95% scratch kitchen.  Our executive chef Jason Daniel is phenomenal.  You can get service out to your bays, so you can eat there while you are golfing. There is also a bar area on every floor and a rooftop terrace with live music on the weekends.

On the second level there is an event space.  Conference rooms for smaller meetings.  You can host events on the tee-line, so you can golf as well.  We also offer full facility buy-outs for folks with 1100 guests.  It is customized for the guests,” concluded McCarthy.
