Newly opened in the Pizitz Food Hall, Yellowhammer Creative is a local retailer that sells hand screen-printed products in Birmingham.

From It’s Nice to Have you in Birmingham t-shirts to cool posters and prints, this store has everything you need to tell the world you’re proud of your city.

Their doors are open 11-8 Monday-Saturday and 12-6 on Sundays.  Stop by when you’re at the Pizitz and buy one of their ultra-soft t shirts!

A fair trade store on 3rd Avenue North, Sojourns offers Birmingham unique home goods and clothing that gives back to nonprofits.  Melissa Kendrick, the owner of Sojourns, opened the store in 2005.

Sojourns has goods from 57 countries and provides dignity and fair wages to the artisans who created them.  Items include household items like coffee, jewelry and accessories, journals, shoes and much more.

In addition, 10% of Sojourns proceeds are given to local charities that mirror fair trade’s values.  Make sure to stop by and support great causes at Sojourns.
