Magic City Chocolate Challenge

If chocolate is your life, we know where you need to be this Thursday. The Magic City Chocolate Challenge is a dream come true for all of you chocoholics out there. This third annual event offers goodies from the finest bakers, chefs, and chocolatiers all evening. Alabama Summer Skies: Star Party
- When: Friday, June 23 from 7 pm to Midnight
- Where: Christenberry Planetarium at Samford University
- How Much: FREE
There is nothing like a party under the stars. Head down to the Samford University and you’ll fo sure get one. From virtual reality experience to planetarium mini presentations, there will be plenty to do at this event. Doodle’s will also be pumping up the party with plenty of desserts available for purchase. Sister Hazel at Iron City

Pop, folk rock, and even classic rock’ n roll. Sister Hazel has got it all. This band from Gainsville Florida has been touring since 1993. Taking the world by storm with their prominent harmonies and highly melodic tunes. Their upbeat songs have made them who they are today. You’ll definitely want to check them out. More Information.
Cahabazaar presented by Yellowhammer
- When: Saturday, June 24th from Noon to 8pm
- Where: Cahaba Brewing Co

The first ever Cahabaazar will be in full swing this Saturday. Family friendly activities, local artists and makers, music, food and of course some great craft beer are some of the things they have in store for you. This free event is going to be plenty of fun for everyone. More Information.
Tie One On! Funky Food Truck Festival
- When: Saturday, June 24th from 1pm to 6pm
- Where: Trim Tab Brewing Company
- How Much: $5 Advance/ $7 at Door
Funk and Food? Who knew they were synonymous. TrimTab did. There will be plenty of our wonderful food trucks and even guest appearances from the most precious adoptable pets from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. All proceed of the event will benefit AIDS Alabama’s programs. More Information.
Jam in the Ham

TBT to your favorite bar Zydeco. You might want to head back to your bar hopping roots this weekend for Jam in the Ham. Bingo with the Tragic City Rollers!

Forge Gardening Class: Vegetable Gardening

Learn how to grow, harvest, and prepare fresh vegetables from Jefferson County Master Gardeners and agents from the Alabama extension. Watering Hole Series benefitting Coosa Riverkeeper

A series like no other starts next Tuesday. The Coosa Riverkeeper Interns will be raising money to further benefit the protection, restoration, and promotion of the Coosa River and its Tributaries in Alabama.
