The Birmingham Zoo is bringing you craft brews and BBQ this June. After two years of immense success, Zoo, Brews, and Full Moon Bar-B-Que is back again.
Got any plans, Saturday, June 17th? You do now. Head on over to your favorite family spot and enjoy more than just the wild animals. You will definitely want to check out the 3rd annual Zoo, Brews, and Full Moon Bar-B-Que event.
From 5:30pm to 8:30pm, you’ll get the chance to stroll through the Bham Zoo with your favorite craft brews. There will be an impressive selection of drinks from some of the finest specialty brews from all over Alabama and the southeast. Expect to see some local favorites such as Ghost Train Brewing, Cahaba Brewing, and Trim Tab Brewing. Some nonlocal vendors include Grayton Beer Company, SweetWater Brewing Company, Red Clay Brewing Co and Goat Island Brewing. There will also be wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, as well.

Of course, Full Moon has got you covered when it comes to the BBQ. Enjoy a Bham signature dinner of Full Moon Bar-B-Que with your friends and family.
The fun doesn’t stop there. There will be plenty of great activities for all ages. You’ll get the chance to check out the Avian Adventure Free-Flight Bird Show, groove to some live music by Park Band, greet some wild animal favorites, enjoy the all-new Pirate train ride and even satiate your need for speed on the Talladega Superspeedway pace car and street team.
This family-friendly event is $35 for attendees over 21, $20 for designated drivers and attendees under 21, and free for attendees under 3. All tickets include admission, dinner, and attractions. Adult tickets get the added benefit of select servings of craft brews.
VIP tickets are available and include early event admission at 5pm, premium parking, and select servings. VIP Pricing is as follows:
- Under 3: FREE
- Under 21: $50
- Designated Driver: $50
- Over 21: $75
