Three days until 2017. How are you going to spend your NYE evening? Good thing you live in Birmingham, a place with a variety of events for all ages and all genres. Whether you want to dance, drink, eat or even karaoke the night away, here is a guide for your perfect New Year’s Eve in Bham.
BirmingJam – New Year’s Event at Region’s Field
Who wouldn’t want to spend NYE watching fireworks at Regions Field? Hosted at the Club Lounge of Regions Field, BirmingJam will be a NYE event you won’t soon forget. From three different live shows, catered food and servers, an open bar and champagne toast, you’ll be sure to enjoy yourself whilst helping out a great cause, Teams for Troops. The event is a Black Tie Affair and open to all ages, so come dressed to the nines to bring in the new year. Tickets can be purchased here.
2017 Get Down Downtown New Year’s Eve Party at The Loft Entertainment District
Say Goodbye to 2016 with the Loft Entertainment District. Tickets are $20 allowing you access to 6 different bars. This includes The Collins Bar, Carrigan’s Public House, Pale Eddie’s Pour House, Rogue Tavern, Wine Loft Birmingham, and Tavern on 1st. Don’t worry about driving, a Loft District party bus will be making the rounds between venues to keep everyone safe.
Circus of Love: NYE at Trim Tab
Trim Tab is offering a unique NYE celebration. From acrobats to fire dancers, you’ll be sure to spend your evening oohing and ahhing. The 2nd Annual Circus of Love will also feature special brews, DJs, and a photo booth. You can also try out Trim Tab’s newest cider made with Crow Mountain Orchard apples. Stay tuned for their Food PopUp for the night.
New Year’s Eve at The Redmont Hotel
You won’t want to miss the first annual NYE at the Redmont Hotel. Enjoy a four-course meal at the Harvest Restaraunt and Bar or just ring in the new year on The Roof. Your ticket includes small bites, desserts, and bottomless glasses of champagne. Of course, there will be music and a countdown to the new year. Innisfree Lakeview NYE 2017
Lakeview is joining in on the holiday season with some bar hopping fun. Enjoy your night at Tin Roof, Side Bar, and Innisfree for only one cover charge. You can buy your armbands in advance and only spend $20. Innisfree will host a ball drop on their big screen along with their infamous Fireball toast at midnight.
Nanas New Year’s Eve Bash
Free Champagne Toast and Party favors. Nuff Said. Nana Funks is putting on their own extravaganza this New Year’s Eve. With only a $10 cover, you can economically dance the night away.
Party NYE: 24K Magic City
Join Al’s on Seventh for a slew of amazing performances. If you loved “Christmas is a Drag,” get excited for the DREAMCAST with their special guest Trinity Taylor. Don’t worry there will be a champagne toast, giant balloon drop, video countdown and dancing tunes by DJ Push Play. So, if you want to dance the night away and enjoy a night of drag, head on over to Al’s.
New Years Throwdown at The Bar
What sets this destination apart? How about karaoke? How about free entry? I knew you’d be sold. The Bar in Lakeview will be doing giveaways, great specials and of course a midnight champagne toast. The only thing that could make this better would be a live DJ. Oh wait.. they’ve got that too!

New Merkle Revue at The Oasis Bar
More music equals more fun. Spend your evening rocking out with New Merkle Revue, a jam band from Bham at the Oasis Bar. They will do covers from The Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, The Band, JJ Cale, Clapton, Beatles, and Elvis Presley. Enjoy a night of different genres and a lot of fun.

Chroma Cove // NYE Pre-Party & Opening Show!
What is better than art and friends? Spend your NYE evening at Chroma Cove, a pop-up gallery in Bham. Exhibitions include Hannah Barret, Danny Roche, and Andrea Really.
