Here is a great way to begin 2017.

Kickoff the new year on January 1st 2017 with a hike at Little River Canyon National Preserve.

Join the DeSoto State Park, Little River Canyon Preserve National Park Service, and JSU Field Schools staff on a beautiful outdoor adventure/hike from the Little River Canyon Center to Little River Falls and on to Martha’s Falls.

This hike is a moderately difficult 4 mile hike. Meet at the Little River Canyon Center for pre-hike orientation. The hike is scheduled to begin at 1:00.

Sign-up for the event on the Little River Canyon Center Facebook events page so they can prepare for the hike.
