SUMMARY:10th Annual Township Jazz Festival
DESCRIPTION:  \nAfter growing slowly over the first decade\, the festival has burst onto the metro music scene over the past few years. Local news outlets have called it “One of the most popular music events in Mississippi.” \nThe event has gained a reputation as one of the best family-friendly music events in the state – and the only music festival in the Jackson metro area dedicated exclusively to jazz! \nOur formula is simple: offer a full spectrum of jazz artists (from national recording artists to local up-and-coming professionals and students) in a safe\, clean environment\, all for the low\, low price of FREE! That’s right: our festival is free to the public (thanks to the contributions of our wonderful corporate sponsors\, like title sponsor Morgan White Group). \nCovered seating is always available; blankets and lawn chairs welcome (no tents). Food and beverage vendors will be on site (no coolers\, please).

SUMMARY:14th Annual Leap 4 The Lily Pad
DESCRIPTION:  \nWe hope you will join us to support disability awareness + raise funds for operating costs for The Lily Pad Cafe by participating in the 14th Annual Leap 4 The Lily Pad on April 11\, 2026 at the Methodist Rehabilitation Center Green Space in Ridgeland\, MS! \nALL proceeds will go towards operational costs of The Lily Pad Cafe and will also help keep the Lily Pad Training Program FREE to all students/interns. The Lily Pad provides training and internship opportunities for adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities. We equip these men & women with the tools necessary to obtain employment by local businesses so that they can not only achieve their full potential\, but display to the community their abundant talents and abilities. Thanks to generous contributions like yours\, we currently have 13 interns working at our cafe that opened in December 2024. These interns have come from 2 training academy sessions we’ve held to date. We are working to find employment within the community for a few of our interns who are ready to leap into their next job roles. Our 3rd session of The Lily Pad Training Academy Program will begin in Spring 2026. Our fundraising efforts allow us to keep the training program free to the students and their families. \nThe 14th Annual Leap 4 The Lily Pad will kick off at the green space in front of Methodist Rehab in Ridgeland\, MS with a fun run\, a 5K run/walk\, and a 0.0 race.
