Tuesday, November 6 is Election Day ! By Wednesday morning, Alabama voters will have elected its slate of constitutional officers (Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Auditor), a new State Senate and House, Chief Justice and judges statewide and locally. All seven U.S. congressional seats are up for grabs, and so are local sheriffs, district attorneys, county clerks and local offices. And don’t forget the constitutional amendments.
Big things are happening for Uber! This Sunday, July 1, the company will be launching statewide service across AL. Now, everyone in the state will be able to ride with Uber.
After disagreements with law enforcement in 2014, Uber is back and ready to tackle game days, Friday nights and your #ThirstThursdays outings in the good ol Ttown.
Not only is this popular in metropolitan cities, but the “ride share” service is a favorite among incoming students and parents of these darling freshmen.
“So any opportunity for a student to be able to get a ride and then move freely through campus I think is also gonna be safe.”
