Join us on April 14th to celebrate International Slow Art Day with mindfulness and art!
Slow Art Day began in 2009 with volunteers hosting events at 16 museums and galleries in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The BMA joined early, with volunteer-run Slow Art Days starting in 2010. So far this year, 158 museums and galleries from around the world are participating in Slow Art. The BMA is taking Slow Art Day one step further by integrating art with mindfulness. The day will be filled with activities that take a slow approach to our fast paced lives.
Come see how fast you can fall in love with slow art!

1:00-2:00 pm: Explore the galleries on your own; looking at the selected art works for 10 minutes each.
2:10-3:00 pm: Meet in the Conference room on the second floor to share and discuss the experience.
