In just a few hours, the productivity of the entire world is about to decrease for an entire month. It is not because of war, famine or a breakdown in the global economic system. Today, the 2018 FIFA World Cup Finals in Russia begins.
Several popular Birmingham neighborhood restaurants received their health inspection scores over the past 30 day, since Bham Now last reported scores in mid-May.
According to a news release from Rojo, the popular restaurant in the Highland Park area of Birmingham, has won the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s 2018 Restaurant Neighbor Award for the state of Alabama.
Last weekend, the Alabama Rivers Alliance celebrated its 20th Anniversary by recognizing community and state “river heroes” at their annual Alabama Water Rally at Camp McDowell.
The highlight of the three day event was the River Celebration Awards Banquet which honored organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions toward river protection in Alabama.
