Shelby Humane’s Boos, Brews & 4 Legs Too Friday, October 25 5 – 9 pm Avondale Brewing Company Hosted by Best Friends of Shelby Humane – Boos, Brews & 4 Legs Too will be a SPOOKY and SCARY night…. just kidding it will be cute pets in Halloween costumes! Bring your pup out for chance to win amazing prizes! Or find your new family member from the adoptable pets from Shelby Humane that will be onsite. Free to attend! Donations accepted to Shelby Humane. Costume contest entry is $10 per pet. Register onsite by 6:30 pm, contest starts at 7:00 and awards at 7:30. Other fun games and activities for you & your pets! Plus, a portion of beer sales will be donated to Shelby Humane from Avondale Brewing Company. Food available for purchase. Shelby Humane is Shelby County’s open open-admission animal shelter that cares for over 5,000 pets each year. Help us fulfill our life-saving mission by attending Boos, Brews & 4 Legs Too!

Learn how to properly pet dogs to avoid frightening them or getting bitten or snapped at

Practice proper interactions with REAL dogs!

Learn what to do if approached by a stray dog

Learn when it’s not okay to approach their own dog or a friend’s dog

Role-play how to respond if a dog growls

Meet a service dog and learn about important jobs that dogs do

Make friends and have some silly fun!
