Innovation & Growth – Mayor Bell’s ‘State of the City’ Address

Yesterday, Mayor William Bell delivered his “State of the City” address, spoke to The Women’s Network, then visited the Pratt City Library to speak to the public – highlighting the growth of Birmingham from many different aspects.

Special card supporting Birmingham Civil Rights National Park given to Mayor Bell and Secretary Jewell. Yesterday, President Obama established the Birmingham Civil Rights National Monument.

Yesterday, President Obama, through a proclamation under the Antiquities Act, established the Birmingham Civil Rights and Freedom Riders National Monuments.

A historic day for Alabama.
