Scramble For Life: a benefit for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Genny Williams, Associate Broker, X-tra Living at eXp Realty, is hosting “Scramble For Life: a benefit for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society” at The Meadows Golf Course at Harpersville, AL on Friday, April 9, as part of her campaign for “Woman of the Year” for LLS.


The cost to register a two-person scramble team is $300, and the winner will receive $500 in prize money! All skill levels are welcome. There will also be additional prizes and awards throughout the day. Course fees, cart, refreshments and lunch are included in the registration fee.


The first round will start at 8 am and the second round begins at 1 pm. We will have lunch at noon.

All proceeds will go to Genny Williams’ campaign for LLS “Woman of the Year.” Many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients, but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.


We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!


All donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible. They’ll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Ross Bridge Kids Classic Golf Tournament


WHAT: Spend the day at RTJ Ross Bridge, a championship level golf course near Birmingham, while helping Children’s of Alabama, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The Ross Bridge Kids Classic golf tournament is open to the public for golfers at all levels.

WHEN: The Ross Bridge Kids Classic will tee off at RTJ Ross Bridge on Monday, March 9, 2020 with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

WHERE: Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa in Hoover. RTJ Ross Bridge is located at 4000 Grand Avenue, Hoover AL 35226.

MORE: This will be a scramble style tournament at one of the premier courses on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Each registered player will receive one round of golf with a golf cart and range balls, a grab and go breakfast, lunch, and goody bag. There will also be an awards ceremony and prizes 1st – 3rd place, the longest drive, and closest to the pin. The entrance fee is $700 per team of four or $175 per player.
