Join United Way of Central Alabama’s Financial Stability Partnership as they host Plan & Prepare: Disaster Preparedness Workshop. At this free event, learn how to be better prepared as an individual or family, document storage tools, receive tips to build an emergency kit, and create a disaster checklist. The lunch and learn will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 11:30am-1:00pm. Representatives from ABC 33/40, ServisFirst Bank, 211 Connects Alabama, Governor’s Office of Volunteer Services Disaster Preparedness, Jefferson County EMA, Alabama Cooperative Extension System, and Jefferson County Department of Health will be present.
