All interested are invited and encouraged to join Florala natives, Marsha and John Hooten on a Winter Bird Walk! Meet us at 9:00 AM on Saturday, January 26th at Manning’s Landing (1/4 mile north of the Florala RV Park, 439 Victoria Lane, Florala, Alabama, 36442). Binoculars recommended! The Hootens will lead the group in identifying and observing all types of fowl and waterfowl present. Birds that may be encountered include sandhill cranes, eagles, coots and other duck species, cardinals, robins, orioles, goldfinches and egrets.
