The first state lawmaker to try impeaching the Governor last year now says Robert Bentley is going to resign. Reports are unclear if a Magic 8 Ball was used to make this prediction.
Today Alabama’s House Judiciary Committee lifted the hold on Special Counsel Jack Sharman’s impeachment investigation of Governor Robert Bentley. What a difference a day makes, huh?
The Huffington Post reported on Alabama’s drought as the ‘worst in modern memory’. Lake Purdy, which supplies Birmingham with drinking water, has receded several feet due to drought, leaving dry, cracked ground where water used to be.
“Alabamians benefit when our entrepreneurs can turn innovative ideas into companies that create jobs,” Bentley said in a release.
