During his time playing for the Birmingham Barons, Kenneth “Kenny” Coleman got to play with Michael Jordan. Yes, that Michael Jordan. Today, the board and officers were announced for the Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA).
Dr. Ray Watts, president of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, has been re-elected as the 2017 Chairman of the Board. This will be Watts second consecutive year as the chairman.
“I am pleased to continue the great momentum created in the last year by serving another year as chairman,” Watts said.
Among the restaurants, breweries, music venues, and community gatherings, there is one aspect of Birmingham that cannot be over looked – you guess it – the Innovation.
Yesterday, the Sheraton Birmingham hosted the BBA’s, as I like to say, power luncheon to discuss Bham’s growth and future.
