Auburn University revealed that they will be wearing No. 7 on the side of their helmets today at the Outback Bowl honoring Birmingham native Pat Sullivan, who passed away on Dec. 1 at the age of 69.
Yesterday, salamander enthusiasts, herpetologists and nature lovers around the world were introduced to a new species of salamander found only in Alabama and Florida – the Reticulated Siren.
“Shield bugs” is one name, which describes the appearance, like an ornate piece of medieval armor. On November 6th, Chandler Riggs, the actor who portrays Carl on AMC’s hit show the Walking Dead, let the world know he was accepted to Auburn University. The 17-year-old, Atlanta native has been with the show since the premiere and has quite a large fan base. So of course, his fans had a lot to say about his acceptance.
