Love proud. \nJoin us for The Queer Wedding Blitz—a daylong celebration where queer couples can say “I do” surrounded by friends\, chosen family\, and community. From sunrise to sunset\, we’re marrying as many LGBTQ+ couples as possible\, giving them the joy of a beautiful ceremony and reception—without the price tag. \nPlanned by Avenue D Events\, Iron City Social\, and Central Alabama Pride\, this includes FREE ceremonies and receptions\, but donations are accepted. We’ll even throw in a complimentary champagne toast with an N/A option for our couples that don’t imbibe. \nThis is more than a wedding – it’s a movement of love\, pride\, and community. \nHere’s you can can participate: \nRegister for a ceremony: Choose the “Couples” ticket option in Eventbrite.
