Job Summary

This position will be responsible for reporting and data analysis related to the financial information systems including Decision Support and Cost Accounting systems and ERP system. This includes reviewing and analyzing all financial and costing data provided throughout the Health System for internal and external reporting, benchmarking, and other purposes.  This position will also provide support for third party reimbursement, cost report and GME reporting.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

Experience

  • Eight years of experience in finance data analysis required
  • Three years healthcare experience required
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, namely MS Excel required
  • Hands on experience with SQL and Crystal Reports required
  • Soarian Financials and Decision Support experience preferred
  • INFOR ERP system experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze and review data requests and work with other departments directors and leadership within the Health System to ensure appropriateness of data needs and data parameters
  • Ability to analyze and review costing information for appropriateness and potential reimbursement impacts and to communicate such results
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills required
  • Ability to independently develop, manage and oversee completion of projects

Licensures, Certifications and/or Registries

  • Certified Public Accountant or Masters in Business Administration preferred
