United Way has a rich history in helping neighborhoods and communities in Central Alabama. It began as a cooperative action to address our city’s human services problems.
United Way is looking for energetic individuals who are enthusiastic about helping improve people’s lives in the central Alabama area. Support the planning, organization, implementation & successful completion of campaigns within an assigned group of accounts. Individuals hired as a temporary employee to work full-time for the thirteen (13) week (August 26, 2019 through November 22, 2019) campaign to raise over $38 million to support local health & human services agencies & programs. College degree preferred, quick learner, organized & good communication skills. Looking for applicants from Blount, Walker, Jefferson, Shelby, and St. Clair counties.
