This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for providing telemarketing sales, sales administration and assistance for Chester’s prospects, franchisees and strategic partners.


1.B.A. Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred.

2.A minimum of three to four years of experience in telemarketing, sales and other related fields; a minimum of two years of experience in customer service, preferably in a food service environment is desired.

3.Strong listening skills; well-developed emotional maturity; good organizational skills.

4.Well-developed communication skills are necessary.

5.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to initiate conversations and build strong relationships.

6.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with Microsoft CRM is desired. Ability to type professional correspondence is required.

Essential Job Functions:

1.Provides a telemarketing function for Chester’s; performs lead follow up and initiates customer calls. Promotes and sells all Chester’s products through lead source, or cold call.

2.Develops a strong knowledge or Chester’s including history, sales points and business structure.

3.Maintains Chester’s leads and customer information in the designated company database. Updates and modifies records using defined Corporate policies.

4.Acts as a liaison between Corporate, Strategic Sales Partners and sales Managers regarding marketing campaigns, leads, inquiries, and follow-up.

5.Assists in the development of scripts for telemarketing campaigns, presentations, proposals, quotations, site application packages, return on investment spreadsheets, and appointment setting for field team members.

6.Attends and participates, as an integral part of the sales team, in Company trade shows; accumulates data concerning prospective sales; responds to questions and requests for information concerning Company products; makes favorable comparisons of Company products to those of the competition; accumulates new sales. Provide company defined reports in a timely and accurate manner, including, but not limited to, monthly and weekly lead reports and daily status reports.

7.Must maintain a high level of organization in essential job functions.

8.Must work well within a fast-paced environment.

9.Responds to all leads within 24 hours including entry of lead.

Performance Standards:

1.Sales data indicates an active and successful telemarketing activity; there is an increase in new accounts.

2.Takes immediate attention and provides adequate assistance to Strategic Sales Partners, Regional Sales Managers, Area Developers, and others requiring assistance.
