Third Friday in Forest Park and Tour de Loo

Shop local and enjoy your neighborhood restaurants and shops in Forest Park!
Restaurants will have specials, shops and galleries will be open late (5-8 pm), catch the shows you may miss during the day, shop for gifts while enjoying a refreshment. Enjoy the social scene of Forest Park after hours.
TOUR DE LOO*: During the Third Friday events, the Forest Park merchants’ loos are transformed into art installations by local artists.
Matthew Layne, President of Bare Hands, Inc which creates Birmingham’s Annual Day of the Dead Festival, will vote for the best installation and award the winning artist with a $200 prize, sponsored by James Rushton.

*Artists can submit to participate in the future Tour de Loos with an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating what their installation will be and send low-res images of artwork.
Art installation = taking an interior and loading it with disparate items that evoke complex and multiple associations, thoughts and moods.
