He’s our first Democratic senator in 25 years. Alabama votes for character, choosing policy over party.

“The fact that Alabama’s voters have sent a Democrat to the Senate for the first time since Howell Heflin retired in 1997 is a stunner …”

First things first

Roy Moore on a horse is obviously #trending. Yes, he arrived to vote via his trusty steed for the primaries, too. The horse’s name is Sassy, in case you were wondering.

From all of us here in Alabama, regardless of our party affiliations, we’d like to offer a collective “Duh”. This race is so tight that if it was a dress, your dad wouldn’t let you out of the house in it.

This horse thing is big, ya’ll. Pretty sure all of America thinks every Alabamian owns at least one animal for transportation purposes. Actually, I am OK with this. I love horses. Also, Jeff Sessions voted, SFGate also reports.

Here message was a little vague, but that’s OK. Condi keepin’ it neutral? What do you think?

“A little over an hour after polls opened, President Trump tweeted that the people of Alabama ‘will do the right thing,’ and he attacked Democrat Doug Jones as ‘Pro-Abortion, weak on Crime, Military and Illegal Immigration, Bad for Gun Owners and Veterans and against the WALL.’ He called Jones ‘a Pelosi/Schumer Puppet’ and declared that ‘Roy Moore will always vote with us.’

Birmingham, stay with us. I’ll update this post after the polls close tonight at 7 p.m.
