Meet Barkley, a rescue Great Pyrenees adopted from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Barkley is one of the “it-girls” of Instagram’s #dogsofbham. She and her human, Jane Gardner frequent quite a few dog friendly restaurants around the Magic City.

Black Market: Barkley highly recommends this fun place! The big patio overlooking 5-Points in Southside is a great place for relaxing. There is plenty of room there for your dog to feel comfortable. Black Market has great drink specials, trivia night and killer bar food. 1035 20th St S.

Moe’s BBQ: Who doesn’t like BBQ and wings? You can slip your dog a few morsels of Moe’s excellent BBQ and let him drink from the dog bowls on the patio at Moe’s. Enjoy great food, a laid back vibe and cold beer. 731 29th St S.

Baha Burger: If you want a unique burger and to take your pup with you, check out Baha’s gourmet burgers. They offer the classic burgers we all know and love, plus a lean turkey version, a salmon burger, a Memphis style pork burger and a veggie one.
