Last week, Birmingham was featured in the travel section of the New York Times.

This week, we’ve gone international thanks to Canada’s largest newspaper the Toronto Star.

In today’s edition of the Star, five Birmingham originals are highlighted in an article titled 7 things to experience in Alabama.

Talk about some cool places

If a Birmingham resident was making a list of some of the coolest places in town, these destinations would definitely fit the bill. The article featured (with excerpts):
