Constructed in 1927 by Paramount studios, the Alabama theatre is one of Birmingham’s most iconic music venues.  For that reason, they have hosted some of the biggest names in music, like BB King, Merle Haggard, Temptations, Norah Jones, Harry Connick Jr., Ray LaMontagne, and even Jessie McCartney.  One of my favorite events at this theatre is their Christmas movie showings during the holidays.  Tickets go fast so check out their upcoming events!

This venue in Bluff Park is starting to make some noise.  They call themselves a listening room, which means they like to attract a respectful audience to honor their artists.  Bring your own cooler of refreshments and listen to amazing singer-songwriters from our city and beyond!  Check out our latest post on this venue.
