“Whether it’s a week or an hour before you desire any of our beauty services, let our GlowPro beauty professionals come to you!

GLOW connects you with our accredited network of GlowPro beauty professionals, to provide beauty services like dry styling, blowouts, make up applications and spray tanning.”

Presently, the company is only operating in Birmingham, but an expansion into Nashville is on the Horizon.

The capital investment was provided by the CIO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, Scott McGlaun, and Molly LaBorde, COO of the Innovation Depot.

No doubt, being connected with the Innovation Depot and Velocity Accelerator has proved beneficial in more ways than not.

“Everybody knows entrepreneurship is just up and down, and you really have a great support system with somebody and a place you can go if you need anything at all.”

Yazmin Cavale exclaimed to Bham Now in an interview

The GLOW app is moving efficiently with major contacts and resources such as VaynerMedia through founder Gary Vaynerchuck. The next move to scale the market and serve to 1,000 women per month is the goal, within Nashville.

In an interview with the BBJ, Jim Cavale (Co-founder of GLOW) commented on the progress.

“With Iron Tribe, Homewood was the concept and 280 was the prototype.

With Glow, Birmingham is the concept and Nashville is the prototype.”

Jim, the former president of Iron Tribe fitness, has years of experience in entrepreneurship and business development. The husband and wife duo are a perfect match!

Meanwhile, recruiting GlowPro and sales leaders for Birmingham and Nashville is next on the list.

Finally, gathering connections and investors is always a top priority. If you are interested in connecting with Yazmin and Jim Cavale, seek them out here!

Accordingly, the startup ecosystem within Birmingham has a common goal – to fund, support, and keep business talent within the city. Devon Laney, the CEO of the Innovation Depot, had a few words for our community in regards to the mission.
