Homewood’s Little Professor Book Center is back!

Birmingham’s oldest independent bookstore, Little Professor Book Center, re-opened this weekend in the heart of Homewood’s 18th Street Central Business District after departing its previous location for nearly three weeks.

The new bookstore’s new location is at 2844 18th Street South in Homewood, next to Urban Cookhouse and across the street from The Trak Shak and O’Henry’s Coffee.

Family-owned and operated since 1973, Little Professor will be open Monday through Friday 9:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 6:00pm.

A mainstay in Homewood for 44 years, Little Professor truly embodies the sign on the their storefront – Eat. Sleep. Read. Local.
