This weekend, there were a flurry of op-eds, editorials and articles opposing and supporting Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions’ nomination to become to Attorney General in a Trump administration.

One prime national example of an editorial opposing Senator Sessions nomination came from the New York Times titled  –Jeff Sessions as Attorney General: An Insult to Justice

Locally, columnist Cameron Smith weighed in with a pro-Sessions for Attorney General op-ed titled – If we’re a nation of laws, confirm Jeff Sessions as Attorney General .

The nomination of Jeff Sessions for Attorney General is shaping up to be one of those classic Washington D.C. battles for the hearts and minds of the American people.

What are your thoughts? As the U.S Senator from Alabama for two decades, we should know him better than anyone. Should Sen. Sessions become the nation’s next Attorney General? Yes or no.
