This Christian-based nonprofit has been serving the Bham community since 1944. They have grown from one storefront to a ministry with several programs including a separate men’s and women’s homeless shelter, recovery programs, and fundraising thrift stores.

Specifically, during the holiday season they are in need of individuals to deliver meals, package meals, as well as serve meals to those in need. If you are interested in any of these ways to help out, click here.

In the past, this organization has logged over 10,000 volunteer hours and raised over $175,000. They love their volunteers and the growth their help has ensued.

They offer many different opportunities to get involved such as Bulletin Board Artists, Cooking Classes, and Supply Drives. Here is a link to the varying opportunities to help out.

Through hardships and spikes in unemployment, they have continued to provide a consistent source for meals for those in need. Serving over 95,000 meals a year is not easy without the help from Birmingham volunteers like you.

Since they serve 365 days a year, you will have no problem scheduling a day to give back. Click here to make a difference with this organization.
